“On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists hijacked 4 aircraft and deliberately crashed two into the World Trade Center in New York City, one into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and a fourth crashing into the ground in Western Pennsylvania. There were a total of 2977 killed which included the 19 hijackers. 265 passengers on four aircraft, 2606 in the World Trade Center buildings and 125 at the Pentagon and over 6000 injured”.
”On October 23, 1983, two suicide truck bombs carrying 2000 pounds of explosives struck buildings in Beirut, Lebanon housing American and French service members. There mission was a peacekeeping operation during the Lebanese Civil War. 241 U.S. Military personnel mostly United States Marines were killed. Two miles away that same morning 58 French soldiers were killed in their barracks in a separate terrorist attack”.
“Vietnam War (1954 – 1975), the human costs of this long conflict were harsh for all involved. Estimates of war dead were over 2 million civilians on both sides and some 1.1 million North Vietnamese and Viet Cong fighters and between 200,000 and 250,000 South Vietnamese fighters. The United States killed and missing are at 58,479 and 304,000 wounded (at least 100 are those of servicemen who were Canadian citizens.) Amputations or crippling wounds were 300 percent higher than in WWII. 75,000 Vietnam Veterans are severely disabled. Other countries that fought for South Vietnam were South Korea (4000+ dead), Thailand (350 dead), Australia (500 dead) and New Zealand (36 dead). While Veterans of WWII prospered, Vietnam Veterans suffered economically after coming home”.

Many of the civilian deaths were as a result of deliberate genocide, massacres, mass bombings, disease, and starvation”.
